Nothing like a morning perusing the anti-feminist sites for finding a good giggle. All emphasis in this excerpt is mine.

We have a guest post today by Jasmine from Far Above Rubies:

She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.

Proverbs 31:17

Preparing our daughters to be corner pillar stones is important to their well being (Psalm 144). Here are some things that are incredibly needed for their success:

Train them up in the womanly arts. A young lady should know how to work with her hands at an early age. Learning a craft/skill opens the door to opportunities which may allow her to contribute financially to the home.

A daughter who is trained in the womanly arts is an incredible asset to her mother and father. Mother and daughter can work along side one another chatting and thinking of ways to help daddy become successful.

Train them up to serve their brothers and fathers. It is important for girls to learn quickly that serving is the beginning of a selfless life. While preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner, younger and older gals may be given various responsibilities.

Younger girls can serve the napkins and utensils. Older girls, food and drinks. Boys do not go untrained while sisters are serving. Boys should wait to eat until their sisters and mother are seated. They may stand as they wait for their sisters to sit as a form of respect.

So, let’s see if I got this right. Step 1 – Let’s train our daughters not to use their brains to go out and make the word a better place but instead to learn to manipulate the helpless men. Step 2 – It is the height of good manners to let the food hit the table before eating it. I hope these now well trained boys always have servants around or I can just imagine them standing sadly beside a table waiting for food to magically appear.
