Reviews This Week

When the tension flares into violence, Luca is forced to flee and try to make a life away from the only business that he knows.

Just One Damned Thing After Another – review here – When Dr. Lucy Maxwell (Max) interviews for a historian position with St. Mary’s Institute she notices that things aren’t quite right. What kind of history institute has a large building named after a physicist? A history institute that goes back in time to witness history first hand, that’s who.

Hypocrisy – review and GIVEAWAY here – Dr. Lauren Crawford is a brilliant research scientist who discovers a revolutionary treatment for cancer that not only extends life, but much improves the quality of life for terminal cancer patients. The treatment, in some instances, can even cure certain cancers. On the evening before Dr. Crawford holds a press conference to announce that the FDA has given preliminary approval of her new cancer treatment, somebody follows her to her car and puts three bullets in her head.

What Am I Reading This Week?

I’m up in the air. I’ve started a few things but haven’t really settled on anything. I have a book about Korean brides in Hawaii and a memoir of a female politician in Pakistan. I think I know why nothing is grabbing me yet.

I’m waiting for the next Dresden Files book.
