Today I followed the greenway out through the first park I came to to the Minneapolis Sculpture garden. I tis a large park with lots of sculptures. The centerpiece is a huge fountain made up of a sppon with a cherry on top. I like art most that is bright and whimsical so this was great. I didn’t like a lot of the other stuff. Huge blocks of stone and things like that. There were some horse sculptures though. I took lots of pictures but I can’t download them here. The park has a cool feature where you can call a number on the map and hear a recording about the sculpture you are looking at. Sort of like a cell phone guided tour.

Yesterday I listened to a whole series of lectures on vomiting and diarrhea. Thrilling stuff, huh? I did learn some practical stuff. Those are the cases I hate to see because I feel like I’m always guessing. Clients usually aren’t interested in a bunch of tests. They just want it to stop without knowing for sure what is going on.

I went in search of an Italian restaurant last night. I couldn’t find one. I was craving pasta with tomato sauce, veggies, and goat cheese. I did find a restaurant labelled “Fresh Mex.” I had enchiladas with spinach, mushrooms, and artichoke in a sundried tomato cream sauce. Very good. I picked up a magazine called VegNews at Barnes and Noble. It gave me some interesting things to think about. I’ll post more about them later. I have to get off to lectures now.
