More pictures of NQA quilts for inspiration.
There was quite a bit of soft-edge applique there. I’ve never done this but I like the look. You cut the edge out of some element of a print and applique it over the edge of the neighboring block of the quilt.
Of course I took pictures of the horse quilts!
I really liked this one. The horse heads are cut out of a print fabric. The setting is clean and simple. It was then quilted with horse shoes and horses running on the border.
I am really enjoying the quilt photos from the show. However, I do wish you would put the quiltmakers’ names with the pictures. I think they should be honored.
