When I first started quilting I did a lot of swaps. I loved them but for some reason I got out of the habit in the last few years. The website I swapped through is now defunct but yesterday I got an urge and went looking for a new place. I ended up finding two groups that I think will work for me. Stash Builders and …drumroll….Quilter’s Coven – yes, a pagan quilting group! I also found Swap-bot, which has swaps of all types, not just fabric but books, ATCs, yarn, recipes, etc. I already signed up for a theology based swap where you send two people a description of your spiritual beliefs and two items that related to it. I don’t know what I’m going to do with 4 items from other beliefs but I’m having fun thinking about what I’m going to send.
That sounds really interesting. I want to know what you get from the theology based swap! I’m tempted to sign up for it myself, but I wouldn’t have a clue as to what to send. Maybe if I can come up with something I will.
