I’ve been listening to a lot of audiobooks still.

In the Mystic Bayou series I finished One Fine Fae and Shifters in the Night and started A Farewell to Charms. That’s the last book.
The husband and I finished Written in Red and will be starting Murder of Crows.

I feel like I haven’t been actually reading much of anything this week. I finished the Glimmer Lake series and will be reviewing that this week.
I started River Mumma but it hasn’t pulled me in yet. I started a few chapters of Monsters Born and Made too.

This sounded like it should have been a good book for Wyrd & Wonder but it started with a very contrived set up that had the main male character acting like a complete creep. He didn’t seem sorry for that and I didn’t feel like reading about a jerk.

I had some of these recommended to me on Amazon. I guess I’m searching a lot of watery fantasy books. I got The Maid and the Crocodile from the library. Daughter of Tides is from Kindle Unlimited. I’ve DNFed every Kit Rocha book I’ve looked at before but I’ll start this and see what I think. The Queen of Blood is an older Sarah Beth Durst series that must have gotten reissued since her new book did well. Ignited in Iceland is a newer book in a series I really like that I didn’t realize had come out.
I haven’t see that Durst book before! Definitely sounds like they may be capitalising on her more recent successful books!
Have a great week!
Did you like those Mystic Bayou series? I might wanna read them too!
I do! They are fun. There is an overall story line that builds through the whole series
I love The Others series by Anne Bishop. I also enjoyed that Sarah Beth Durst series. I hope you enjoy it too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
