It took a while to settle on audiobooks this week after finishing up our last ones.
I’ve finally decided to move to LibroFM if I need to buy books because of Audible changing how they pay authors again. I listen to a lot of Audible Plus books and it seems like that is now going to penalize the authors whose books I buy. Yeah, doesn’t make sense. I’m going to stop my full subscription to Audible once I figure out how I want to spend the extra credits I have. I may keep an Audible Plus membership for a little bit to see if I use it enough to justify keeping it. For my own listening I tend to go library first, then Audible Plus, then I’ll use a credit only if I have too. I’m so freaking cheap. Honestly, I didn’t know until I started looking into this in the last few days that there was a less expensive membership for Audible Plus only. As far as I understand it, the books that I have bought with a credit I get to keep if I cancel the subscription. Is that true?
