
Actual historical fiction, as opposed to historical romance, is so stressful for me. It’s because I read realistic historical fiction about women and that never went well for us.
Canticle is about a woman in 1299 in Flanders. Of course it opens with her walking towards where she is going to be burned at the stake.

I’m still slowly working my way through this one. It’s good but my listening time got cut down last week because I got sick so I wasn’t going on my walks.
