According to Goodreads I read 234 books in 2025. That seemed like a bit much so I went back and added up my monthly wrap up posts and came up with 221. So it is somewhere around there depending on who is counting. Either way that’s a pretty big reading year for me.
Here’s a rough breakdown of genres. It doesn’t count rereads so it doesn’t add up to the total number.
I don’t have any specific reading goals for 2026. I’m not good at sticking to any reading challenges I try to do anyway. I am going to continue to try to read books from around the world both in nationality of the authors and where the books are set.
I want to try to read some of the stacks of books that I actually have here but since I spent part of New Year’s Eve loading up my holds list at the library that may be a losing proposition already….
