Several times I’ve tried to take self portraits while using a mirrors for positioning. I’ll hold the phone so I can see the view finder in the mirror. It never works out though because as I’m looking at the side by side images of me in the mirror and me in the viewfinder I always see that camera me looks much fatter than mirror me. Why would I want to record that for posterity? At least I can truly say that the camera lies when I see unflattering pictures of me!
