According to Goodreads I read 130 books this year.

Looking at the charts I see that I did good job with diversity as far as male and female writers goes but I am awful at finding authors of color to read. That is even after I did #diversiverse focusing on authors of color in October. If it wasn’t for that I don’t know if I’d have many at all. All the male authors but one were white.

For the last few years I’ve tracked where the books I’ve read have been set. I did well with diversity of area this year.

But, for 2015 I’m going to work on adding more authors of color to my reading lists. Stay tuned to tomorrow’s post to find out what steps I’m taking.
