I finished 13 books in January. I say finished because I started a lot of books that I haven’t finished yet.

They were:

  • 5 nonfiction
  • 3 audiobooks
  • Set in Ghana, England, South Korea, Sierra Leone, Austria, British Guiana (Guyana), and the U.S. (Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Maine)
  • 2 were from my owned TBR list (1 physical and 1 ebook)

I’ve decided to change the way that I’m making my reading map this year. I was looking at books and heard my brain say, “I already have Ghana.” That’s a horrible way to dismiss a book that I might want to read! I’ve decided to count how many times I read a book in each country or state instead of just a marking if I read a book there. The color should get darker the more books I read.
