Welcome to Nonfiction November!
We’re glad to have you here. Let’s start with a review of the nonfiction books that you’ve read since this time last year.
- What books have you read?
- What were your favorites?
- Is there a topic you want to read about more?
- What are you hoping to get out of participating in Nonfiction November?
I read 36 nonfiction books since I did this roundup last year. That’s a lot more than I generally have in this roundup.

If I had to pick a few favorites I’d say:

I’m always looking to find great recommendations for nonfiction books this month. I make birthday and Christmas shopping lists from the books I find on other people’s blogs every year. As you add books to your TBR, remember to jot down where you found them for your list in week 5.
What have you read this year?
Next week is:

If you need a reminder of all the weekly topics, look here.

It says verification failed so I’m going to post again. Apologies if this shows up twice.
This is a great selection of books which has significantly grown my wishlist. I have a question about ‘Proper Healthy’. Are the recipes properly meatless or do they use plant-based meat substitute? Or perhaps a bit of both? I couldn’t tell from the Amazon description.
That’s quite a bit of nonfiction. I did not think to keep track of the cookbooks I read this year. Maybe next year I will remember. Thanks for hosting.
Wow, you’ve read so much nonfiction this year! Really looking forward to this month 🙂
I don’t seem to be able to sign in to the linky – my post is here – https://bronasbooks.com/2025/11/01/non-fiction-november-2025/
Which cookbook did you find the most useful?
I’ve used Baking Vegan Bread at Home the most.
I’ve only read Ina Garten’s book, but I have Memorial Days on my list for this month’s challenge. The book edited by Ann Hood might be worthwhile, too.
You’ve got a lot of delicious looking books on this list!
I read (listened to) the Renner! incredible. You have many books I’m interested in, including the notebook one.
I’m so excited to join in this year for the first time! ‘We Will Be Jaguars’ is one of my favourite reads of the year so far.
Here’s my week 1, since the link thing doesn’t seem to be working properly:

Glad to have you this year!
Nice list! I haven’t read any of these though!
I love to look through everyone’s favorite nonfiction of the year. I use it to make my wishlists.
I hadn’t heard of the book about Angelica Schuyler Church. That sounds fascinating.
It will make you mutter about all the factual errors in the Hamilton musical though…
Yay Nonfiction November is here! Thanks for hosting this first week, and thanks for your recommendations.
I have a page in my iPad notes app ready to paste recommendations into, in fact I’ve already added one 🙂
What an amazing quantity of books. I would be interested in the Geraldine Brooks, Memorial Day. I have read her before but not that one. I’m posting my Week 1 post link here because I can’t seem to get the linky thing to work. https://volatilerune.blog/2025/10/27/nonfiction-november-week-1-nonficnov25/
The Notebook was surprisingly one of my favorites this year too! I almost gave up on it because it started a bit slow for me, but the deeper I got into it, the more I liked it. Awake is on my list to read next. I got to see Jen Hatmaker on her tour last week when she came to Alabama (!), and she was so inspiring! Thanks for hosting us this week. I look forward to adding to my TBR this month.

Thanks for hosting!
That’s a lovely variety of books read and I’m going to wishlist a few (the Ted Lasso one, The Gift of Not Belonging and The Indian Card). Thanks for starting us off!
