I went with two coworkers to a used book sale at the main library yesterday. Yeah, I know, I go on and on about not liking to own physical books and then I go and get more.
To be fair, I started clearing out my bookshelves before I went. I figured if I got rid of more than what I brought in that was a win.
Here’s what I bought. You could buy a bag of books for $5. I bought Missoula for the husband but once I got it home I realized that I had already had him read it years ago. So it went onto the donate pile.
Here’s what I pulled out to donate so far.

Nonfiction November starts here tomorrow. I know it isn’t November yet but there is just way too much nonfiction fun to fit in one month. Come back in the morning for the link up of everyone’s year in nonfiction.

Library sales are hard to resist ?
I’m especially interested in A Bicycle Built for Two Billion.
We have a Something New In, Something Old Out policy here at our house these days. For my husband, that mostly involves rocks, and for me, of course, it mostly involves books. But that policy does not apply to my wishlist or my library request list, fortunately, as I have just now added to each.
I always say that book buying and book reading are two separate hobbies lol
Yes… we’ve made a vow to only acquire non-fiction books in print as our house is stuffed with books and there simply isn’t room for any more. Good for you getting rid of some – have a great week:).
I keep telling myself to stop buying physical books, but then I tell myself if it is one I already read and loved as an e-galley it is okay, lol. Occasionally I go through and pull out to get rid of, but I’m not great about it. I need to do better! But I love seeing all my books in my library/office right now. I guess when I get ready to move some day I’ll have to look at it for sure. Hope you have a good week, thanks for visiting me earlier!
Enjoy your new books! I’ll be back tomorrow for Nonfiction November.
