I received Power Yoga for strength and flexibility taught by Rodney Yee last night. I just tried it for the first time. I’m not a huge fan of power yoga. I prefer to hold a pose for longer periods of time to experience the full effects. I’m also not terribly flexible so it takes time for me to get into the pose. But I tried the flexibility routine this morning and I like it. There is a great relaxation section at the end that put me a great meditative state. I felt a great longing to meditate when the tape was over. Right now my muscles feel pleasantly tired and my mind is calm and quiet even after going about my daily chores for a while.

Speaking of meditation, Steph at Was It the Pagan Remark? posted a great meditation for Gaia today. Most of my meditation practice is Gaia based so this fits right in.
