I totally finished up my Quilt of Valor! I never totally finish up anything unless it is a gift. It seems odd to have done that. Right now it is in the dryer. I also never wash quilts. I always give them away unwashed so it was scary to wash this one especially since it has a lot of red and white. I loaded up the machine with color catchers but they don’t have any dye on them. Now I just have to see how well Bubble Jet actually works and see if my printed label washed out or not.
Since it is drying and not available for a photo op, here’s one from last week.
I also made the presentation case for this quilt. Here is it modeling with the two flowers I made this week.

I think it is very “human” to want to give something and maybe a little selfish because we get such a warm, fuzzy feeling when we give……….I think God smiles at that kind of “selfishness”………… The quilt of valor is an accomplishment and you should be proud. Love the birdie hexies…….
