K. J. Charles
Today we’re switching from fantasy to historical romance with occasionally some magic. K. J. Charles writes male/male romance novels set in England. She has many series so where should you start?

Her Sins of the Cities series features a mystery that spans all three stories. The story is set in Victorian England. It features characters of multiple ethnicities and diverse socioeconomic backgrounds slowly getting to know each other. I love this series.
The Doomsday series features a family of smugglers on the coast of England. It is described as Bridgerton meets Poldark.

Her Society of Gentlemen series is another with an overall mystery through the whole series. I binged this one because I needed to know what was going to happen.

She has a lot more books. There are a few with magical elements but these are my favorites of her series although I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them.

These sound fun. I like a series that has a throughline that makes me want to read them all, back-to-back.
The books sound good.

Another person on my blog’s review team has read Sins of the City series. I don’t typically read romance.
