When heiress Paulina Despradel is banished from the family quinta in a storm, she seeks shelter with her dashing new neighbor, Sebastian Linares. Their attraction may be as electrifying as the lightning outside, but the night they spend together is totally innocent. Barely more than strangers, they must now marry. But left alone with their simmering chemistry, can they build a true union from the ashes of scandal?

Is this the worst title ever given to a book in the history of time?

I love Lydia San Andres’ books. That is the only reason I picked this up. Seriously, what is up with this title? It is awful. I would have never have even looked at this if I was just browsing. It looks like the worst buzz-word generated trash. I’ve noticed a few other titles like this on Harlequin books lately. Have they just completely given up?

This book is really good. It doesn’t deserve this kind of disrespect.

This is a historical fiction book set on an unnamed island in Caribbean. I like this author in part because I haven’t found a lot of other authors setting their stories in this location. I like the variety in historical romance.

In this story the hero and heroine are set up. Turns out that they are compromised into a scandalous marriage. (Not sure if I should have put *SPOILER ALERT* before that.) They are both nice people who set out to try to make the best of their situation. It was nice to read a book with both characters being supportive and uplifting each other.

So give this one a chance in spite of the dreadful title and you will enjoy it.
