Anything in the Magiford universe is an auto-read for me. The author had taken a few years off so I’m thrilled to see this book is out. I’m also excited to get a new Pride book about shifters during Prohibition.
I’m listening to The Lost. It is an early book by Sarah Beth Durst that was repackaged based on her later success. It is very different than her later books. It is slow moving and almost-horror.
We finished our group listen so I need to figure out what we are going to listen to next.
I was about 50% through and realized that I was just pushing to get it done before the library took it back. I wasn’t enjoying it. It was creative but it didn’t really make sense to me. I was interested in the family dynamic but as soon as it moved back into manipulating universes I lost interest.
