The first prompt for SciFi Month is to list our TBR. We all know that I am absolute rubbish at sticking to a TBR so I’m going to look back at the sci-fi books that I’ve read since the beginning of last November.

That’s more than I usually read in a year. Thank you Nathan Lowell for keeping me deep in your space opera series!

What were the best ones of the year?

Obviously I love the Nathan Lowell series but the ones on this list are deep into a series so I’m not going to recommend them as a starting place. If I was just going to hand people books, they would be:

I reviewed There Is No AntiMemetics Division here. TLDR – Get it on audio, it adds to the creepy. My only issue with As You Wake, Break the Shell is that there is a cliffhanger ending. It is told in dual timelines so you know what is going to happen to them in the future. You just aren’t sure exactly how they get from the beginning to the end of the story. The cliffhanger is in the middle and I hate that. I want my books to tell a whole story.
