Here’s how writing this post went.

Me – scrolling Goodreads – “Ooh, I liked that one.  Is there a new book out yet?  There is?”

Soon I had a huge stack of books coming from the library and still no post written.

It happens. I get really into a series and then I wander off distracted by something more shiny. Here are a few that I need to get back to.

Hounded (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #1)Hounded by Kevin Hearne

Atticus is a 2000 year old Druid living in Arizona with is magical Irish Wolfhound. They fight gods. I seem to have read 6 of the books. There look to be nine now.

A Natural History of Dragons (The Memoirs of Lady Trent #1)A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan

Victorian manners and dragons. What’s not to love? I only read the first book and now there are five.

Envy of Angels (Sin du Jour, #1)Envy of Angels by Matt Wallace

This is a catering company for the monsters of New York. Foodie reads and urban fantasy? Perfect for me. I’ve read one and there are five now.

The Interrogation of Ashala Wolf (The Tribe #1)The Interrogation of Ashala Wolf by Ambelin Kwaymullina

Kids with special abilities are hiding from the authorities in far-future Australia. I’ve only read the first book. There are three.

Ms. Marvel, Vol. 2: Generation WhyMs. Marvel, Vol. 2: Generation Why by G. Willow Wilson

I went wandering off after the second volume and now there are eight.

The English Girl (Gabriel Allon, #13)The English Girl by Daniel Silva

I haven’t read books 16 and 17 in this thriller series about Israeli spies.

Enchanted, Inc. (Enchanted, Inc., #1)Enchanted, Inc. by Shanna Swendson

I just bought the eighth ebook in this cute series about magical creatures in New York.
