The deep freeze continues around here. I like the dark and gloomy parts of winter. I’m not a big fan of the super cold. I looked up our average temperature for January and February. It’s 30 and 41 respectively. We’ve been declaring it a heat wave when we get up into the 20s for weeks.
The main thing this is doing to me is keeping me inside on the treadmill for my walks. That is so boring. I end up super-multitasking. I am watching something while playing a game while walking. As soon as it gets above freezing and the roads get less icy, I’m going to be back outside. I don’t know how long it will be until the trails are safe again.
Nemo doesn’t have these issues though. He still wants to go to the park daily. He needs to go to get his brain working properly. If not he just sits and barks randomly. So we bundle up and go. (Scroll down for video)
Friday when it was over 20 degrees he had the husband there for 40 minutes. (See, heat wave!) Yesterday we were there for about 15 minutes at 12 degrees. We won’t get him boots or he’d never want to come inside.
