The SO’s brother is coming for a two week working vacation. He lays tile and he is going to redo floors and backsplashes and some other stuff. Now I’ve had bad experiences with contractors who never finish things and with relatives who come for a few weeks and don’t leave for two and a half years. Combining the two makes me nervous. The SO assures me that his brother will go home. I’ll believe it when I see it.
