If anyone is described like this in the blurb I know it is going to be too descriptive of a book for my liking. I don’t care about that as a description. Tell me about their personality.
Billionaire
Not relatable. Don’t care.
Amateur detective
I’m not into people trying to solve crimes who aren’t supposed to be solving crimes. I think they are just busybodies and I want to slap them for the entire book.
Want to Read
Cozy
Give me all the warm and fuzzies.
Magical
Obviously – especially middle aged or older women who suddenly become magical.
Ha ha. I read a lot of cozy mysteries and they almost all star an amateur sleuth. That doesn’t bother me; cozies are always far-fetched. I just suspend my disbelief and go with it! I’m with you on the billionaire thing, though. Not at all relatable for the majority of us.
