top ten tuesday

When I sorted my books by length on Goodreads I realized that most of the absolutely monstrous books I’ve read were from a long time ago. The winner was London by Edward Rutherford which was 1332 pages. No wonder I remember that one taking forever!

I’ve decided to focus on books that I was surprised to see were over 500 pages.

Other books in the series have gotten shorter but I’ve reread these ones so many times that I guess I’ve never noticed the length.

Dense, well researched historical fiction. These were chunky books but so well worth it.

You don’t really expect kid’s books to be over 500 pages but these were mighty books.

The first and last books in the series are medium length but the middle books are chubby.

These are so cozy that I loved spending lots of time reading them.

These books were very detailed worlds too.

I just read this book and had no idea it was over 500 pages.

You have to love some big nonfiction books too.
