I love the covers of this series! The series isn’t actually very nautical but it is an imagining of the Napoleonic Wars if magic was involved so there is some boat burning.
I like the blending of the dress into the waves in the first cover.
No one is letting the sea sneak up on them on these books covers. They are not turning their backs on the waves. Definitely a theme going on.
This is more of a disaster of a seascape as is fitting for a story of mermaids who work in shipwreck salvage.
