I’m getting back on my Monday reporting routine after taking five weeks off for Nonfiction November.

Honestly, I don’t know. Nothing is really making me want to dive in. I have Hole in the Sky from the library. It is going to get removed from my reader in the few days so I should give that a go and see if I like it.
It is a Native American alien first contact story.

When I first listened to The Wizard’s Butler years ago, I looked to see what else Nathan Lowell had written. That was a fantasy book. It looked like the rest of his books were space opera but this book was about a shaman. I decided to pick it up. I DNFed it in under an hour. I didn’t understand the world building at all. I was so disappointed.
Now I realize that this is in the same universe as the space opera series. You need to have listened to that to have the world building to understand this. Since I’ve been binging on that for months I get it now. This is the backstory for a tiny little side plot of the space opera story. Now it is fun to see how it is all going to fit together.
