It’s Monday! What are you reading?

I was audiobook-less for a while this week. I know!I just couldn’t find one I wanted to settle in with. I listened to podcasts for a few days and then I started to run out as I caught up on those. Luckily this showed up in from the library. I didn’t even realize that I had requested this on audio. I thought I had asked for the book. This is probably a better fit for me on audio though. It is structured as interconnected short stories and I tend to get distracted while reading those. Also the narrator’s very calm and soothing voice is perfect for the psychological horror of this book.

This category is just a lot of It’s Not You, It’s Me this week.

Lost in Curiosity is good. It would give me Greenland on my reading map. I’m just not picking it up when it is time to read. Partially that’s because it is a physical book and not an ebook. I don’t know what the other issues are but I need to set it free back at the library.

I love Ann Aguirre’s books. I didn’t even look at what this one was about before requesting it. It isn’t urban fantasy/paranormal like her others. It is set in a fae world and I just don’t tend to like those stories. I talked about this in my book snippets post about it. There’s nothing wrong with this book but I’m halfway through and I just don’t care to find out what is going to happen. Time to return it.
