This wrap up is going to be a bit … dramatic. Maybe even over the top.
My month started out normally. Here’s my books for the beginning of the month.
I also read some cookbooks. I highly recommend reading cookbooks while watching college football. It is a great combination of pastimes.
That was all fairly normal. But then on the 19th I wandered off and had surgery. That left me off work for the rest of the month with nothing to do but lay in bed and alternate between reading and watching YouTube.
So that makes a total of:
- 27 books and 1 short story
- 5 for SciFiMonth
- 7 nonfiction
- 2 audiobooks
- Set in the U.S., Poland, Libya, Canada, England, Jupiter, Scotland, and fantasy lands
I even made a little bit of progress with TBR lists because I read two books that had been on some of my TBR lists in the past for SciFiMonth and Wyrd and Wonder.
I also did a good job of working my way through some witchy ebooks I got during a free ebook day. I read a few (and a read the first few chapters of a lot more and realized that they weren’t for me).
I have another whole week off of work so December should have a lot of books too.
The only good thing about surgery (other than it fixing a problem we have!) is time to laze around and read. 🙂 Hope you are recovering well and get to enjoy one more week of good reading.
Hope you’re doing OK after your surgery. I had an op in 2017 and read NINE Debbie Macomber books set in Alaska during my recovery!
