A sewing friend noticed my p90x stuff laying around yesterday and launched into a speech about how exercise is bad for your body. I didn’t even bother listening to it but I guess the point was that she couldn’t figure out why I’d do that to my body.

Then she proceeded to try to carry her sewing machine upstairs. It is hard for her since she has no upper body muscle. I can carry all kinds of stuff upstairs with no problems. That’s a good reason to strength train.

Not having to shop in the big people stores?
Having energy?
No joint pain?

Those are good reasons.
