I had planned on working more on my anchor quilt. I have rows 1-5 done and am working on row 6, which is the most complicated.
But I got distracted by an email.
A few months ago I sent an email to some local quilt stores about Quilts of Valor’s 10th Anniversary Block Drive. Monday I got an email from a local store saying that they had 225 blocks ready to be picked up. Would I come get them?
These blocks will make about 4-5 tops depending on how I put them together. I’ve started adding red sashing for the first quilt. I’ll be doing these as leader/enders while working on other projects.
WOW! These look awesome! I have always wanted to try quilting but have never gotten around to it!

I made a couple of the anniversary blocks this week too, but no where never 225.
