This was a quick block. I think this would make a great quilt if you replaced the squares in the corners with half square triangles. That would give a good secondary pattern when the blocks were put together.

I made this cross from left over pieces of the rail fence from yesterday’s block and then added some triangles for interest. I guess sometimes it pays to be lazy and not clean up your workspace immediately.

Day 5 is a little more complex. It is from a free paper pieced block pattern called Tequila Sunrise. It is actually four of the blocks put together to get close to 12 inches. It needs a border put on to be up to size but I like it.
