I was in a police search! I was on the train this morning when the police stopped it. First the driver came through looking for something. Then 2 cops came on and searched. Then a metro transit cop joined them. Seems like a lot of effort for a Sunday morning on a two car train with only 6 people on it. They didn’t search any people and they didn’t seem to find anything so I don’t know what was going on.
I started reading Harry Potter at 10:00 last night. Forced myself to go to bed at 1:00 AM. So Iwas beat during my 8:00 AM lecture on listening to hearts. He keep playing recordings of heart beats. I’m not sure I ever heard what I was supposed to hear but it was way too soothing to a tired person.
I took off after that in search of highly doctored coffee. Then I followed a lady with two standard poodles down the greenway. It is a park-like path connecting downtown Minneapolis to a large park. Very nice. Lots of apartment buildings back up to the trail. If it wasn’t for the horses or the fact that Minnesota is -900 degrees most of the year I’d like to live there.
I did go back and do more lectures – pain, nutraceuticals, pheromone thereapy and ethics. The ethics lecture was interesting. Questions like “Should you rehab hurt members of invasive species like starlings?” and “Is money better spend rehabbing individual animals after an oil spill or working with the remaining ecosystem?”
Then I went back to the hotel and finished Harry Potter.
