Please tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? How long have you been blogging? Why did you get into blogging?
I’ve been blogging forever. I started at this site in 2005. I always say that I started blogging because I couldn’t get a word in edgewise with my ex-husband.
Where in the world are you blogging from? Tell a random fact or something special about your current location. Feel free to share pictures.
I’ve been in Akron OH for a year and a half now. I was horrified when I found out we were moving here but it is really quite lovely. (I realized when I wrote that it is seems like Wesley’s description of the Fire Swamp and if you understand that then I love you.)
Random picture – We went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this weekend. I have a brand new camera that might just be smarter than me and this is the very first picture taken with it. I present ZZ Top’s guitars.
What are you currently reading, or what is your favorite book you have read so far in 2013?
I’m currently reading Paris by Edward Rutherford.
If you could eat dinner with any author or character, who would it be and why?
I still think the only proper answer to this question is the Mad Hatter and the Dormouse.
What literary location would you most like to visit? Why?
I want to go to Bath to visit the setting of all the extremely chaste romance novels that my grandma loved. Or, I’d like to visit the Discworld.
Hi! That Paris book looks awesome! XD
thanks for sharing I got to know you a bit better and I hope you have a great day and a lovely weekend!
I love Bath and I would love to go back!!
Haha, I would like to have dinner with the Mad Hatter as well 😀 Love the picture!
I would totally go to DiscWorld with you.
Great reading about you….from a fellow human owned by pets (two dogs, they let me out every once and a while, lol!)
Hope you are enjoying BEA from your armchair.
Dinner with the Mad Hatter! I love that answer 🙂 Can you imagine?? That would be fantastic.
Have a great ABEA!
That’s a pretty neat photo taken with your new camera 🙂 I think hanging out with the mad hatter would be really fun 🙂
Hi Heather! It’s nice to meet you. I’d love to visit Bath! I’ve seen pictures, and it looks lovely. Have fun this week!
Yes. The Mad Hatter would be a great dinner companion. We are all mad here!
I LOVE the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! I just moved from Cleveland and it’s one of the few things I really miss. 🙂
It was fun. We need to go back on an adults only trip to get more into it.
I love your reason for starting blogging! 😛
And are you enjoying Paris? I’ve wanted to read that book for ages…
I am liking Paris. I’ve read London before and this one jumps forward and backwards in time more than London did so you have to pay attention.
Ooh, Bath! I’d love to go there! And dinner with the Mad Hatter and the Dormouse would be epic 🙂
Also, that picture is awesome!
