I made good progress on my SIL’s baby quilt today. I got everything cut out and fused. This is amazing because I Don’t Do Applique. My sewing group is amazed because I am famous for Not Doing Applique. In my head I thought about hand sewing the pieces down but once it all came together I’m already finding myself saying, “I can machine sew that piece.” I’m sure by the end I’ll be machine sewing everything. There is also hand embroidery. I don’t think there is a way around that…
