This is Freckles your host for our entry in the Pets on Quilts Show. It is a celebration of animals in quilts and animals on quilts.
This is Snowball. She was the dog the people had before me.
My mom made a quilt that looks like her.
She’s made lots of quilts with animals on them.

This is Dakota. He doesn’t live here. He just visited sometimes. He wanted to sleep on a quilt that his mom was still sewing on. They had to compromise.

Love the photo of Freckles…..I remember it from last week’s OFW! All the quilts you showed are lovely but my favorite is the paperpieced animals…..the diagonals formed by your opposing blocks make a statement themselves without detracting from the gorgeous menagerie blocks.
