We had a busy Saturday. It started out with Howl-O-Ween at the Cleveland Browns Stadium.

(The hay bale is a potty station.)

You had an hour time slot to come in. I think Nemo was a bit overwhelmed. The excitement got to him. He kept turning in circles and barking. I was impressed by how well behaved all the dogs were though.

There was a trail to walk through the concourse to get treats like bones and chicken broth and pup cups. There were little photo stations set up. Nemo had a wardrobe malfunction. His wizard-scholar robe wouldn’t stay on so we just took it off.

Then we got to go down to the field.

From there it was back up to the concourse on the other side.

The Golden Retrievers were all excited to play with the mascot – especially the Golden dressed as a referee. He was absolutely beside himself!

After that, the husband and dog headed home and I stayed in Cleveland to go to a rally with Amy Acton, Sherrod Brown, and Barack Obama.

There was a huge line to get in. It was about a mile long when I found the end of it. The woman behind me was drunk. She was telling her adult children some very inappropriate things about her sex life. They kept trying to convince her to either tone it down or go home. She elected to do neither. That made the hour and 15 minute wait to get in seem much longer.

Here’s a news article about the event.

I hadn’t ever been to an Obama event. He was great as expected. On Sunday there is a local event with my congresswoman and Raphael Warnock, the senator from GA. I may go over there too.
